Global Investment Approach
The Altan Asset Management team uses a disciplined, fundamental value investment approach focusing on companies that trade at a discount to their intrinsic value. They seek stock-specific opportunities and evaluate the evolution of global environment risks and localized factors.
The portfolios consist of three distinct types of companies:
- Compounders with high-quality earnings and sustainable profitability
- Under-earning companies based on normalized earnings recovery
- Catalyst-driven opportunities where embedded value can be unlocked
Long-term earnings power is the core of their investment philosophy and the team believes that high-quality companies have the potential to generate ample through-cycle earnings power to generate strong profitability for shareholders over time.
