David Dineen, CFA CIO, Global and International Small Cap

David Dineen joined Spouting Rock Asset Management (SRAM) in 2020 bringing over 30 years of investment experience. In his role as chief investment officer, he is the lead portfolio manager for the Global Small Cap strategy.

Prior to joining SRAM, David was a partner and senior portfolio manager for Copper Rock Capital Partners where he was responsible for fundamental investment research, stock selection and portfolio construction across the firm’s investment strategies with specific emphasis on the Global Small Cap and International Small Cap strategies. Additionally, David held portfolio management roles with Granahan Investment Management (International and Global Small Cap strategies), Pinnacle Associates (International Small Cap strategy) and Morgan Stanley Investment Management (Morgan Stanley Select Dimensions Global Equity Fund). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® and is a member of CFA Society Boston. He graduated with a BS in Finance and Marketing from Binghamton University School of Management and an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University. Outside of work, David is a member of the finance committee for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Wellesley, a mentor for the CFA Global Investment Research Challenge and also a Cub Scout den leader.
